Greater Insurance Service Corp. appreciates and respects the trust of our
customers. As such, we are committed to protecting our customers' privacy
and maintaining their trust. Over the course of a relationship, we need to
obtain personal information about our customers and others. We will seek

Information GIS Collects or Acquires

names, addresses, telephone numbers, driver's license numbers, employment
information, home-ownership information, and vehicle information.
• Consumer reporting agencies (e.g., MVRs, credit report data, and claims

• Transactions with us or others, such as policies purchased and premium
payment history.
Disclosure of Information
We do
not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers to
anyone else, except as permitted by law.
We may
disclose any of the information we collect or acquire, as described above,
to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other
financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our customers to
our associates and to third parties who use that information to provide
our products or services to them. We maintain physical, electronic and
procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to
safeguard nonpublic personal information about our customers.

Insurance agents representing GIS are independent and may gather and
retain personal information about consumers. The use and protection of
that information by an independent insurance agent is his/her
responsibility. If you have questions about whether, or how, an
independent insurance agent uses or discloses such information, please
contact him/her.
Applicant Privacy Policy
GIS
Corp. is committed to respecting the privacy of our applicants.
It is our policy to protect the information you provide through resumes,
applications, or any other form of informational documentation. The
information provided to GIS will never be sold, nor voluntarily provided
to another organization.
We may
in certain instances disclose such information if legally required to do
so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity or if we believe in
good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal
requirements of comply with legal process; (b) protect the rights or
property of GIS Corp. (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or
(d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.
GIS's Web Site and Internet Issues
When you
visit our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes and captures
your IP address, but not your e-mail address. We are also able to
determine the Web site you visited immediately prior to accessing GIS's
Web site. Our Web site does not use cookies. If you send GIS a message by
e-mail, only those people who have a legitimate reason to receive your
e-mail will have access to the information you provide.
